Standard Delivery Policy
Floral & Gift Deliveries are conducted Monday – Saturday, areawide in Juneau, Douglas, West Juneau, Auke Bay, Lemon Creek and everywhere in between. In fact, we don’t stop there, we also offer options for our surrounding communities & villages such as Yakutat, Hoonah, Angoon, Kake, Haines, Skagway, and any place at the other end of an Alaska Seaplanes or Alaska Air destination. We believe that everyone deserves access to Floral Delight and Heartfelt Keepsakes.
Delivery Times-Standard Delivery Window is between 10am-5pm, Monday-Saturday. Orders placed within 24 hours of Requested Date are subject to Delivery Flexibility. If you need more specific timing, we are conveniently located inside the Mendenhall Mall for easy Pick Up.
Delivery Flexibility-We are masters of our craft, but sometimes our magic is depleted, and we must prioritize orders based on the order in which they were placed. Orders placed within 24 hours of a requested delivery date are subject to Delivery Flexibility. Meaning we may need to deliver your Order a day Early or a day Late depending on our operational needs. Admittedly, this is a very rare occurrence, but it happens.
Specific Times-We are unable to guarantee delivery at a specific time. You many request a time frame in the special instruction box when ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you need more specific timing, we are conveniently located inside the Mendenhall Mall for easy Pick Up.
If No One is Available at the Time Delivery is Attempted
To a Workplace/Business: The item(s) will be left in an appropriate location for the Recipient to enjoy when they return. If the Workplace or Business is not OPEN at the time our Delivery Specialist arrives, the item(s) will be RETURNED to our Storefront inside the Mendenhall Mall and marked for PICK UP at their convenience. We will courtesy call the Phone Number provided to make sure they are aware.
To a Residential Address: A Delivery Attempt Notice will be Hung on the most obvious entrance door to the address given and the item(s) will be RETURNED to our Storefront inside the Mendenhall Mall and marked for PICK UP at their convenience. We will follow up with a courtesy call to the phone number provided for the Recipient.
Request to leave item at door- We discourage special instructions requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, yard, or any location where it cannot be accepted by a Recipient or someone on their behalf. We also understand that sometimes a Sender has inside knowledge and will do our best to honor a request, but we cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items in this case.
Incorrect Address-We are not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses provided to us by a Sender. If such a delivery is made, Sender assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.
Canceling or Changing an Order-Same-day orders are processed immediately and cannot be changed/cancelled. To cancel or change a future order, please call us at 907-789-0760 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Recipient may be contacted-In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure s/he will be home to accept the delivery.
Recipient refusal of delivery-If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, you may be held fully liable for the cost of the gift.
Floral Substitutions: The inventory we have access to is subject to a host of variables including seasonality, farm availability and quality at the time they arrive in store. In the event that you’ve placed an order for a specific design and the exact blooms pictured at not available, we will substitute with the blooms available that are as similar as possible in color & style to the product you chose.
Gift Substitutions: Sometimes, we go to prepare gift selections such as Bath Soaks, Candles or Stuffed Animals and realize that someone sold the last one but didn't adjust the inventory. It’s true, we are human. These substitutions are often last-minute decisions and completed to maintain on-time delivery of your order. In rare cases, we are unable to substitute adequately at which point, depending on the timeline, we will contact the sender to choose a course of action.
When you place an order, we require you to provide us with Personal Information. We use this information to give you a customized experience and to process the orders that you place with us. For your shopping convenience, when you place an order, we automatically establish your own Personal Account where information used in placing such orders (including billing address, email address, telephone number(s), and rewards program information) is saved. You may access your Personal Account by requesting your password from us (go to My Account) and then signing in with that password. Afterwards, you may change your password, edit your Personal Information, or request a password reminder at any time. Our database stores your billing and delivery information and will automatically transfer it to the order form each time you place an order so that you do not have to re-enter this information when you sign in at subsequent visits.
